Pool Construction
How the Custom Inground Pool Construction Package comes together, from layout to decking tie-in, in ON L6L 6M3.
What the package covers
Full construction management for a standard-size inground pool, covering excavation coordination, structural shell work, plumbing and electrical rough-in, and final decking tie-in. Built around the layout agreed in the consultation.
Construction follows directly from the layout agreed during the Design Consultation & Site Assessment. Excavation is coordinated against that layout, the structural shell goes in, plumbing and electrical rough-in are completed by licensed trades, and the decking is tied into the finished shell edge.

Electrical and plumbing rough-in is handled by licensed subcontractors coordinated by our project lead, not by unlicensed labour.
Inspection-ready at each stage
Work is sequenced so municipal inspections can be scheduled without reopening finished sections.

Materials & methods
What goes into the shell
The construction method is chosen with you during the consultation, based on yard conditions and budget, not assumed in advance.
Gunite shells
Sprayed concrete over a steel frame, suited to irregular layouts and custom shapes. Takes longer to set before decking tie-in than a vinyl or fiberglass shell.
Vinyl liner shells
A formed wall structure with a fitted liner, generally a faster install than gunite and a lower starting cost for a standard rectangular layout.
Fiberglass shells
A pre-formed shell lowered into the excavation, the quickest of the three to install, drawn from the manufacturer's existing range of shapes and sizes.
Whichever shell type is chosen, the plumbing and electrical rough-in follows the same sequence: pump and filtration lines are set before backfill, and the electrical rough-in for pumps and lighting is completed by a licensed electrician ahead of the inspection. Decking materials are selected separately and tied into the finished shell edge once the structure has cured.
Have a layout in mind already? Bring it to the consultation and we will work from there.
Questions before you commit
Clients considering the construction package often ask how firm the starting price stays once work begins. The written estimate from the site assessment is the baseline; it only moves if yard conditions revealed during excavation differ meaningfully from what was visible at the surface, or if you change the agreed materials partway through. Either case is confirmed with you in writing before any extra cost is incurred — nothing is added to the final invoice without that step.
Once the build is finished, the same project lead remains your point of contact for anything that comes up afterward — a question about the equipment, a follow-up adjustment, or arranging ongoing maintenance through the separate maintenance service once the pool is in regular use.
Questions about any stage of this package are welcome before you book — call the office and ask for specifics on your yard rather than guessing from the general description above.
